The Stour Valley Singers is a community choir where we believe in the joy and power of making music together. We meet every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm at Bures Community Centre, just a short distance from the centre of Bures. With around 30 members currently, we warmly welcome new singers from the local area and there are no auditions or age limits. If you enjoy singing and want to be part of a friendly, inclusive community, this is the place for you.
We perform three to five concerts each year, showcasing a varied repertoire that reflects a rich diversity of musical styles. Our past performances and sample recordings give a taste of the high-quality music we make together. Under the expert guidance of our Musical Director and pianist, both highly qualified professional musicians, we strive for excellence in every rehearsal and performance.
